In tank electric fuel pumps have built-in check valves. When these fail, fuel that is supposed to be at the engine runs back into the gas tank, preventing the vehicle from starting. Installing the SRRCKV7 check valve eliminates the need to replace the entire in tank fuel pump. This eliminates an expensive gas tank removal and repair.
