Called the Rocky ProKit, this ProMAXX tool was designed by a Ford Dealer’s service manager to assist the automotive technician in the repair and replacement of broken exhaust manifold mounting studs. This kit delivers speed, efficiency and utmost accuracy in drilling and subsequent assistance in the removal of the remaining portion of a damaged exhaust manifold mounting stud. There’s no need to use a center punch to mark the damaged stud. Since it can be mounted in any of eight orientations, accessing every single stud, the instrument is both versatile and universal. Made with a .125” ID harden steel (Rc62) drill bushing. This unique feature allows for piloting the drill precisely on the center and at right angles to the damaged stud. Precision CNC machined dead flat tolerances of +-.003”
