Fuel pressure release valves found in 2011 and later Duramax LML diesels engines can take up to 8++ hours to replace without this tool.  The valve is tucked under many engine components and accessories.  Without this tool the technician needs to remove the EGR cooler system and fuel rail.  With this tool the technician only needs to unbolt the AC compressor and front EGR valve to access the fuel pressure release valve.  Two piece tool significantly reduces the service time required to change this valve.
